IFFO announces new President and Vice-President for the 2026-2027 term

Following the elections for the new IFFO Management Board, IFFO – The Marine Ingredients Organisation is pleased to announce the appointment of Adriana Giudice as President and Egil Magne Haugstad as Vice-President for the 2026–2027 term.

Adriana GiudiceAdriana Giudice is CEO of Austral Group and a board member for Latin America of the current IFFO Board (2024-2025 term). Austral Group is one of Peru´s leading producers of fishmeal, fish oil and frozen fish.  With a 1,200-strong team, the company operates 4 processing plants along the Peruvian coast (Coischo, Chancay, Pisco and Ilo) and a modern fleet of 19 fishing vessels.

Egil MagneEgil Magne Haugstad is President of the current IFFO Board (2024-2025 term) and a board member for Europe. He is the CEO of Pelagia AS. Pelagia’s Head Office is in Norway with factories concentrated on the North Atlantic. The fishmeal and -oil factories are in Norway, England, Scotland and Ireland. Pelagia is the world’s largest producer of pelagic seafood and Norway’s leading manufacturer of high-quality omega-3 concentrates. Pelagia runs the biggest fleet of vessels collecting by-products categories 3 and 2 from the salmon industry.

IFFO is truly grateful to its outgoing board members who have been committed to IFFO’s development as a global, science-based organisation: Felipe Zaldivar, Fernando Ribaudo, Dan James and Johann Peter Andersen.

IFFO wants to congratulate and welcome Cristian Larrain, Gustavo Delgado Aparicio, Hafthor Eiriksson and Bjorn Kwak to the Board for the 2026-27 term.
