This webinar will discuss a recently released study, with lead author Björn Kok, on the impact that changes in aquafeed composition have had on the environmental footprint of European aquaculture over the past two decades. The authors’ use of the"Index Decomposition Analysis" to isolate the drivers of change proves that the shift in feed ingredients, i.e. a significant drop in the use of wild fish as feed, was the dominant factor in driving up environmental impacts. |
