Side Events

This year’s Annual Conference programme includes two optional side events held in the afternoons, to provide more choice to the attendees. These side events will focus on by-products (hosted by MarinTrust) and the Japanese marine ingredients industry (hosted by Kanematsu).

The events will take place in English, with live translation available via the Wordly App.

MarinTrust: By-product – Perception vs reality

This event will explore the role of by-products in marine ingredient production in Asia and globally. Panellists will discuss the opportunities and challenges associated with the sourcing and use of by-products, from circular economy benefits and increasing raw material availability, to meeting market demands for traceability and quality assurances.
