Process to book a room

SHERATON BUENOS AIRES HOTEL & CONVENTION CENTER  (event hotel)

 

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • All room bookings and cancellations are the responsibility of the delegate.  If you have any queries, you can contact the hotel direct via  [email protected].
  • Room availability:  Rooms are available strictly on a first-come, first-served basis and IFFO cannot guarantee a room at the event hotel.  Once all block rooms have been allocated, you may need to find your own alternative accommodation.  Therefore, we encourage you to register early. 
  • To secure a room:  Accommodation is secured by credit card during online booking.  All room costs, any extras and incidentals shall be paid directly by the guest.
  • One room per delegate:  Rooms in the IFFO block are for registered delegates and only ONE room per delegate can be booked which must be in the same name that the delegate used to register for the event.
  • Hotel’s changes and cancellation policy:  The cancellation policy at the event hotel can be found online when you book accommodation.  Also, ensure to fully read through the Changes and Cancellations conditions.

 

To BOOK a room:

IFFO has agreed a group room rate at the event hotel.  However, to book a guestroom from the IFFO block, registered delegates will need to book direct with the hotel via a special link.  Once you have registered to the event, you will receive a confirmation email from IFFO that will include the link to book a room.

IFFO block rooms are currently held for earliest arrival Friday 16th to latest departure Friday 23rd October (subject to availability) and you will need to select within this range for your online booking.  However, should you need to book a longer stay, you can contact the hotel direct via [email protected] to discuss.  Ensure to let the hotel know you are with the IFFO Annual Conference to get the preferred IFFO group rate.

 

To make a CHANGE or to CANCEL an existing reservation: 

The cancellation policy at the event hotel can be found online when you book accommodation.  Also, ensure to fully read through the Changes and Cancellations conditions.

Delegates should do so as soon as possible, but before the accommodation deadline of Wednesday 7 October, direct to Sheraton Buenos Aires Hotel by e-mail to [email protected].  Please ensure to include your name and hotel reservation number (which can be found in your accommodation confirmation) in any communication with the hotel. The hotel will not be able to consider your request without this reference number.

In case of no-shows on the due day of arrival, a refund will not be possible and you will be charged for the TOTAL amount of your entire booking.
