IFFO uses Whova as its official event app to support delegates during in-person events. Whova is an award-winning event management platform designed to bring all key event information together in one place, making it easier for participants to stay informed and engaged.
Through the Whova app, delegates can browse the event agenda and create a personalised schedule, view speaker profiles and presentations, explore the list of attendees and sponsors, and connect with other participants via in-app messaging.
The app is typically made available ahead of the event to allow delegates time to familiarise themselves with the programme and start networking in advance.
INTERPRETATION
Wordly, an AI-powered simultaneous interpretation software, will be adopted during the main sessions.
Wordly provides remote, real-time, simultaneous interpretation, along with live captioning into dozens of languages. By simply selecting the preferred language, delegates can read text/captions, or listen to the translated audio via their personal devices like phones, tablets, or computers.
AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION
To enhance audience interaction at our meetings, we will be running a live question system called Slido.
Some of the sessions may also include an interactive 'Ask the Audience' opportunity with the use of this software to select multiple choice answers. This gives a fascinating snapshot of the views of a cross-section of the industry against the key issues of today.
