Meiji Shrine & Harajuku

Explore two sides of Tokyo’s culture, first delving back into history with a visit to the Meiji Jingu Shrine, the official shrine of the Imperial Family. Surrounded by forest, this serene site is also where a variety of national ceremonies are held, such as the induction of the grand sumo champions.

The second part of the tour will explore the Harajuku and Omotesdando districts, taking you from Tokyo’s famous Champs Elysees to Takeshita Youth Fashion Street, to have an immersive dive into Tokyo’s bustling city culture and plethora of shops.  End the tour with the Shibuya Crossing and either return to the hotel by coach or continue to enjoy this vibrant part of the city.

Participants should wear comfortable footwear, as this is mainly a walking tour.
