How do we know that by-products fishmeals and oils are sustainable? Where something comes from plays a BIG part in that story, but how to we confirm where something comes from is also a science in itself. To explore this story, we will be joining Dr Wesley Malcorps from the University of Stirling, and Francisco Aldon, CEO of MarinTrust, to discuss not only why by-products derived ingredients are so much more special than we give them credit for, but also how we ensure that these ingredients are from the most sustainable sources and what systems exist to trace all that.
